Hi,
I am facing a strange behavior today, where a plugin-error-message is not displayed in the browser when the duplicate-detected dialog is open.
I have a duplicate-detection rule in place that covert one attribute (account-number) of the account entity. Furthermore a post-create /post-update plugin is deployed that throws an error (InvalidPluginExecutionException) in case an account record is create or update with an account-number that already exists.
So in a situation where the user ignores the duplicate-detection warning in the UI, the plugin should ensure that no duplicates are created.
The problem is that the duplicate-detected dialog appears but when the user selects “Save Record” the plugin-error message is not displayed. The duplicate-detected dialog just closes and the current operation (create or update) is skipped.
When the duplicate-detection-rule is disabled and the user creates an account record with an existing account-number the plugin-error is correctly displayed, so it seems not to be a problem with the plugin itself.
Has anyone noticed the same behavior (with rollup 11, on-premise) and could suggest a valid workaround?
Regards,
Daniel
