Scenario 1:
- If I try to add an individual contact to a marketing list from an advanced find who’s “Do Not Add to Marketing Lists” custom box is checked, I will get an error generated by our plugin validation rule, which prevents the contact from being added to the marketing list. This is our expected behavior.
Scenario 2:
- If on the other hand I try to add contacts in bulk to a marketing list from an advanced find ("Add all the members returned by the search to the marketing list") , in this case where all contact’s have their “Do Not Add to Marketing Lists” box checked, they all get added to the marketing list. Somehow our plugin validation is being bypassed when contacts are added in this manner. Does anybody know if a different plugin message gets fired in this scenario? Thanks in advance.
