Couple of months ago we had and server-side issue and some of our data is corrupted. After that, everything went wrong.
We partially fixed and successfully imported our CRM 2011 system and it become somehow useable, except plenty of error messages started to pop-up now. We ignored it, since it was somehow useable.
When it is time to migrate CRM2013, I followed this method: a SQL backup and recover new deployment from that backup. System is working, with a lot of error messages and some performance issues, which is driving me crazy.
At the end of the day, I decided to move only raw data to a brand new CRM deployment. I started working with SSIS and CRM SDK to do that. I did my first tests to connect two DBs and insert records to new DB, which is successfully done.
I am not concerned about custom entities that we have created. I am worried about the connections and relations between entities, and records. I have no idea about where to begin.
Does anyone have any idea about how to accomplish this migration task?
