Hi,
what difference it makes if i use the address1_telephone1 or the telephone1 field on the form to store the phoneno.?
Why there a direct fields on contact, account, lead f.e. telephone 1 - 3, fax AND the same fields are 2 more times there to use it as address1_telephone1 - 3, address2_telefone1 -3, address1_fax, address2_fax.
Which fields should i use and why there are not all fields on both sides .. .f.e. the adressX_ fields have no emailaddress1 - 3 and no mobilephone and no websiteurl - fields.
Which fields will be filled if importing contacts from Outlook? and can i change the mapping from outlook to crm, that other fields are used while importing?
Can i make mistakes, if i use the one or the other fields?
will they be filled/used in background-processes and in which direction? .. f.e. will the from outlook imported contacts copied to the belonging field? f.e. if imported from outlook fills the address1_telephone1 - field .. will then automatically filled the field telephone1 ??
I know that the address1_... and address2_.. fields are used or stored in customeradress.
But why standardly there will be no possibility to use the customeradress.
There is no connection on any form (account or contact) to the customeradress. I know that i can put it on the forms, but why they are not there, standardly?
Can anyone explain that?
For your understanding:
The association in our industry defines the standard for importing data.
The have 3 telephone numbers for every contact, account and lead..
and they have for all other (than telefone) evene 3 fields ... for fax, mobilephone, emailaddress.
THX for any help. Greets Pit
