This is a two part question related to CRM 2011.
1) What/how is the best way to remove all references to functional areas that are not going to be used in your solution. For example, we are not planning to use “resource group” in our solution. Is there a way to globally remove this functionality from the system (not visible to the end-user anywhere). This includes the sitemap, all ribbons, options values, etc.
2) Assuming we have to manually remove “resource group” from everywhere (sitemap, ribbons, forms, etc), how do we remove “resource group” as a value in the “look for” (contact/connect to another/name-lookup/drop down "look for") review screen shot. It does not appear that you can control this in security, nor delete the connection entity relationship to resource group. Is there a system table where this is stored that we can delete the record?
