We are using CRM 2011 On-Premise and will be migrating to 2013 On-Premise soon. Right now we are testing if all customization is working correctly on a test CRM 2013 website.
We have a custom button on the Case ribbon that shows up or hides depending on a picklist value. Basically the custom button adds a certain type of Activity into the Case. So far this function is working well in 2011 version. However when we migrate to 2013 this button cannot be found on the "Information" form. We find the button on the "Main" Case form - but the button keeps showing up no matter what the picklist value is. Not to make the matter worse, the button is not adding any Activities into the Case when triggered.
The hide/show function is done directly from the Customization.xml. While the add Activity function is triggered by a plugin.
Has anyone ever had this problem where custom button stops showing up/functioning?
