We are using dynamics crm 2013 and trying to develop a method in which we can put a an address to a local folder in a text field, and make it clickable.
The Normal URL fields do not work as the Prefix do not match the field requirement.
We have developed a new JS that makes it clickable, but the entire field is clickble and not just the text entered.
This means that the user must double click the field in order to open it (as one click will enable him to edit the field).
Does anybody have any better ideas on how to implement this requirement?
Also, it appears Google Chrome can't access local folder because of security limitations.
Any help would be highly appreciated,
