Plugins executed from bulk update of records triggering workflow causing issue

Hi Friends,

I am having a issue ,

We have a workflow which updated the status on demand , User selects multiple records and clicks on Run workflow to change the record status ,

This record status will trigger a plugin to update the count on other record 

When the plugin is being executed seperately or bulk status update of records directly the counts are getting updated correctly , but by using workflow if plugin is getting triggered the counts are not getting updated correctly.

If some one have some suggestion that will be helpful
