Dynamic CRM 2011 Checkboxes

I have found so many threads regarding the creation of checkboxes, and none of them I get working.

Also found some saying that the http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/crm/thread/fcfcbe74-f691-42b6-ab0e-56ae42c17e89
is not working anymore since the latest rollup.

Can anyone verify - is that link working (and is it working in the latest rollup?) or is it some other way to get checkboxes into my entity?
