I am working on a partner application that uses the RetrieveAllEntitiesRequest to cache all the entity metadata. When I invoke this request on an instance that has had approximately 150 custom entities added to it, the request is always terminated by the online service at about 60 seconds. It seem like the service has a 1 minute timeout. I am using the online version of Dynamics CRM.
I can reproduce this using both a .net and java soap client. I have my connection and socket timeout both set far greater than 1 minute. I have also noticed that the request always returns in about 30 seconds if limit the request to not include the relationship metadata, but this is not a viable work around since the application requires the relationship metadata to properly construct queries.
