I'm trying to build this CRM system and want to include preloaded job title segment like Executive role, Leadership role,Individual contributor, etc. To make things complicated, the job titles can be in French, German, Spanish, etc. I want my users to be able to search/select decision makers fast for mailings and campaigns. I have asked my future users what segmentation would work best for them but wanted to hear what other people are doing and have done. What segmentation worked for you? 4 buckets, 10 buckets, really granular? Did you use an external vendor if you had foreign job titles to be translated? What was the most difficult part? I want to hear all experiences and suggestions.
