Hi everyone,
i want to compare the actual field value with the new value.
For that, i use a workflow which will start befor fields are changed.
Then i need to get the new value which will overwrite the old value. But OTB i cant find no array or variable where the new value is in.
For this purpose, the value currently present in the field (and immediately overwritten) must be compared with the new value.
The aim is to provide e.g. that the current value is compared with the value to be written and possibly NOT written if it is exactly the same, or write only if the new value is greater than the old value, or stuff like that.
OTB does not seem to be possible.
Is it possible to do this with a custom workflow step as the first action of the workflow?
